Change internalizes prior to externalization

Hello and welcome to the sphere of Sydney Claire!

Today we delve into segment 2 of guiding you into giving me your best.

Breathe
You have left your dwelling, and get on your way to work. A man who works diligently, is a man who prospers.
The reason I advise you to breathe is that we all know how hectic and frustrating a task driving can be in this day and age. The roads are jam packed with people who possess neither manners, nor common sense. Do not emulate these folks.
Heading to work is a time for mentally gearing yourself up for whatever the day will bring, and if you allow others to negatively impact your mindset during this period, than the odds exponentially increase of your entire day being a shitshow, so set your radio to the station which manifests positivity for you.

Smile
Walk in the door of your employment, and greet your co-workers with a genuine smile...even if you detest their very existence. You set the tone.

Be grateful
Have you seen the unemployment numbers? I for one do not swallow the spoon fed lies in regards to all of the supposed job opportunities the media reports on. Every single day positions are lost to outsourcing, and automation, so consider yourself fortunate to be gainfully employed. Take a moment to reflect upon the blessing of a paycheck.

Honest effort
Do your job to the very best of your ability every single day. Do not be a slacker. Slacking is a poor reflection upon you as a human being. Some days will leaving you feeling as if no ever notices how much effort and time you put into doing your job correctly. Regardless, you will know it, and you can take pride in yourself for giving 100%.

Eat your lunch
Do not skip it. Your body needs to be nourished in order to promote peak performance. Peak performance ensures that you are not racking up medical debt, and lost time at work. Do try to drink some water :)

Stay late
If your assigned workload cannot be completed by clock out, than go the extra mile, and stay a few minutes after to get it done. A little overtime will not kill you.

Hit the road
Once you have clocked out for the day, leave your work behind you. This is YOU time. Time to clear your mind of distraction, and focus on relaxing.
Of course the traffic is just as bad going home as it was heading in, so be prepared. Never engage in the road rage fad, or waving the single digit hello. Your chore is to make it home safely, and that means leaving your damn cell phone out of sight while driving. We all know how tempting it is to quickly peruse the news or tap out a text, but DON'T. Listen to your tunes, and keep your eyes on the road.

Home sweet home
At last, yes!

TBC..hope to see you return soon :)

Guiding you to giving me your best

Good morning, afternoon, or even evening to you!

Welcome puppets, poppets, pervs, and curious pedestrians to the world and word of Sydney Claire.

Today is the day. What day is it? It is the day you are finally going to break free, and make some alterations in your way of thinking, which in turn will change your life in meaningful ways.

How does one begin? Which step is of prime importance? Fret not little chickadee, for I am here to guide you along the path.

Step 1
Wake up in the morning, and before you even open your eyes, give thanks, and be grateful for the blessings you have been given.
Now some of you sour duds may be of a mind that your life is an utter pile of steaming dog doo, and that you have nil to be thankful for, but you would be wrong. This type of negativity is one of the reasons why your life sucks dirty dishwater. You are the root cause of discontent in your life. YOU.

Sure it is easier to blame someone else for everything wrong in your life, but that is not what mentally healthy people do. You absolutely must own your decisions whether good or bad, right or wrong. Personal responsibility is a requirement, not simply an avoidable option. Of course some of you have been molded, even scarred by circumstances out of your control in your childhood, but using those experiences as a crutch and excuse for poor decision making is not helping you one little bit. Resolving lingering issues is your responsibility, and by resolving, I am referring to working them out and letting them go. Cease ceding power over your life to whatever, and whoever wronged you. Get into therapy if need be. Heal yourself in order to be whole. This process may take years, but that is ok, so long as you are putting in the work.

Moving forward
After giving thanks, open your eyes and smile. Yes I said smile. Happiness begins within, and radiates outward. Happiness is a positive goal, and how you go about achieving it is what gives you purpose. Life without purpose is a meandering meaningless journey. You want your life to have meaning don't you?

Get up out of bed slowly
Do not jump out of bed like you are in a race for your very life. Enjoy the moments of feeling your body coming alive for the day. Feel the languor of sleep dissipating. Stretch your body towards the ceiling, and allow your body to breathe in for a few seconds, then exhale for a few seconds. Wake your brain up gently like a lover worshiping your flesh.

Make your bed
Yes I realize that you are only going to mess it up later on, but that is not the point. This is you taking responsibility. This is you taking control of your life in small ways.

Relieve and clean
Release accumulated waste, and prepare yourself to wash away the filth from your flesh. Starting your day fresh and clean has a positive impact on your mindset.

Dress with pride
Take pride in presenting an orderly and neat appearance. Sloppy, and sloven does not suit you anymore. Neat has nothing to do with designer labels. Clean and pressed is what you are aiming for. I understand that some days you simply do not care how you appear to the public, and that is all fine and well for when you are staying in, or going to the gym, but looking well put together boosts confidence, and confidence promotes inner happiness. You want to be happy yes?

Eat
Feed your flesh. Eating breakfast makes your body happy. Note that I did not say gorge yourself. Overeating in the morning makes your day begin miserably, so moderate your intake, and try your very best to drink some water :)

Open your door
Smile, and get on your way

This is the first post in a series I will be sharing with you about how I guide those who devote themselves to serving me. Come back soon for the next installment!
