Speed bumps

Speed bumps are put into place to force drivers to slow down. In findom there are plenty of speed bumps, some good, some bad. It is up to you whether you want to take your foot off the gas,or just jump over the suckers lol.

When someone new pulls onto the findom course, they are generally going hell on wheels for speed. Whether it is a Domme blurring by like a cash seeking missile blasting straight toward the first visible wallet,or the throbbing blaze of a subby torpedoing towards the first form to send him into a melted spew of semen. A road rage frenzy to reach their destination, and those who who come into their way, quickly become road kill. Has anyone else ever noticed this phenomenon? This is one of the times where those pesky speed bumps are meant to help more so than hinder. Aggression does not always win the race. Think of the turtle and the hare, and how that one ended. Slowing down may mean that your journey takes longer to complete, but the ride is full of beautiful scenery, and accumulated knowledge, which just may save you from taking the wrong exit. Findom really is not a race track, nor a competition,so the need for speed does not exist. Traveling in the slow lane will not keep you for your goal, honestly. In fact it merely heightens the sweetness of anticipation.

Even life itself tosses speed bumps in your way. When I reach one,I think to myself,ok I am meant to take my time, and possibly learn something new from this experience. I prefer to see it as a positive rather than a negative. Doing so prevents me from giving in to anger, and negative reactions.

Of course there are speed bumps that are worth plowing through though. The ones erected in the hopes of flattening your tires, taking the gas out of your game, and all around making you feel like you do not even belong on the road. These are the ones where you need to put the metal to the pedal, and steamroll over them, sinking them deep like a pesky pothole, which you will see coming in the future, and avoid.

Above all else, recognize that it is a privilege to be on the road, and do not abuse the rules in order to get to the finish line first, and you just might come across some buddies to carpool with :)
