When less is really more

Hello and welcome to all who come to serve the will of Sydney Claire, or merely to absorb my words of wisdom.

No doubt that we have all heard that old saying about "less is more", but the only time I ever heard it applied was when referencing makeup, and I am definitely not here to discuss cosmetics lol.

When I say less is more, I am employing the statement to signify that more followers, more likes, more retweets, more fans, more admirers, more slaves does not mean more success, more happiness, more money. I have seen social media accounts with thousands of fans and followers, yet beyond minimal engagement rates, and even less financial remuneration for time invested. In those cases, more is not more in a tangible sense, and it certainly does not produce that giddy dopamine rush.  

I personally do not fixate on follower count, or even likes. My posts are not intended to resonate with the majority of social media users. In fact, my aim is narrowly fixed upon a scant few.

Of course I could share provocative imagery in order to increase my reach, but I would not be able to maintain the interest of those drawn in, for it goes against my nature. The title of this post truly says it all. It conveys truth to all who see it. 

This post can be used as educational material for women, as well as shining a reflection of selfishness upon males who engage in the behavior I am prepared to share with you.

This is your slotted time for computer use, or watching a movie. Do try to include something educational. Expanding your base of knowledge is a good thing! Perhaps you may even take a few moments to watch the sunset. I especially love this time of day.

Lay your clothes out
Having your clothes set and ready after your shower in the morning saves you time. Develop this routine.

Bedtime
Do NOT stay up all night watching porn, and yes I know that some of you do that! Sleep is essential. Being well rested means that your morning mindset will be positive.

I realize that change is difficult, but getting into a routine is not a bad thing. You may complain that it lacks spontaneity, but the work week is not the time for it. Days off are for spur of the moment outings or such. Devoting yourself to doing and being better requires self discipline, which routine will aid you in molding. Now in the fetish scene, it is more common than not for people to employ stage names. This is a safety measure. It is used as a line of protection to deter stalkers, and those whose intent is ill willed. Women whether you realize it or not, are more likely than men to be murdered or abused in the fetish scene, hell in the world at large, so it only makes sense that women will take steps to ensure that they are untraceable in their nilla spheres. No one should be faulting a woman for taking precautions. 

A woman who uses a faux name is no less a "real Domme" than a woman who doesn't use one. The only thing she is hiding is a direct route to her person, which many of you males do as well. Males in the scene are very likely to provide a false name as well, along with refusing to post any type of photo with their face included. They reason this to be for privacy reasons due to employment, yet it is as well a form of protection of their person. No one that I know of desires to have a random fetish stranger calling their personal number, or showing up at their home without an explicit invitation. It just is not done. In fact, quite a few people compartmentalize their vanilla life far away from their fetish one, so keeping your information private is a sensible rule of thumb.

I realize that the temptation is there, but you must resist, because in the end, you may very well be putting your life at stake. Is it really worth that risk? For me, I say no, but of course you must choose your own path, but I do hope that my words have given you food for thought.

Do you recognize the insanity of replaying the same scenario over and over with no differing results? You pop in with meaningless compliments, and immediately bypass civility to go for the kink kill. Finishing up with what you assume is the greatest of insults, you flounce away in a huff to seek out your next new face.

Doesn't this wear you out? Don't you ever just want to step back from the madness of the cycle, and readjust your game plan? What could it hurt, and what would it cost you to reevaluate? Answer, it would hurt nothing, and cost you a  few moments, which in the end may save you future effort. It is definitely worth the investment.

Originality is an art form that you would do well to incorporate into your approach. Ads in print, billboards, television, and online all portray a similar body type for women. That image is young, thin with larger breasts, collagen injected lips, long hair, and unblemished skin. You tell me, does the average woman on the street look like what I described? Nope they do not, which is what led to the rise of flourishing cosmetic surgery. Companies (ran by men coincidentally) will claim that they do not promote unhealthy images for women and young girls just developing their self-esteem, but they are LIARS. What can you Ladies do to affect change
You can call out people when they trash non-conforming body shapes. You can start campaigns to call for non-conforming body types to be used in media advertising. You can personally pledge to never debase women who are larger than you. The change can begin with you, and radiate outward. Be that change! 


How you men can make a difference
STOP shaming women about their weight and body type, just STOP. You have no basis to do so, and no right either.
